Tuesday, 5th Jan 2016Friday 15th January - Tribute Night at Carnegie Hall
The final event of our #SPIRIT initiative will take place next Friday,15th January, at Carnegie Hall, hosted by Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust.
Click on the link above for a preview of a not-to-be-missed interview with George O’Boyle.. It promises to be a fantastic night for Pars fans to come together to remember Norrie, in the company of Norrie’s family.
We do realise that January is an expensive month, but to make this one off night, even more special and poignant, it is hoped that we can fill the Hall to its capacity to pay a richly deserved tribute to our great captain.
300 of the 500 tickets have already been sold, so we would encourage supporters who wish to attend to snap up the remaining 200 tickets as soon as possible.
The remaining tickets are on sale from the DAFC club shop, priced at £10, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week.
Wheelchair access is provided on the night, and only a very limited number of wheelchair tickets are now remaining.
As highlighted, the evening will show a number of interviews we will have filmed with Norrie’s former teammates, footage from Norrie’s playing career at DAFC, and will feature live Q&A sessions on stage with key people from Norrie’s time at our club.
Our Social Media presenter, Steven Mill will host the evening and we are delighted to announce that we have filmed video interviews with the likes of John Watson, Istvan Kozma, George O’Boyle, Andy Tod, Jackie McNamara, Stuart Beedie, Bobby Robertson, Craig Robertson, David Moyes, Jocky Scott and Roy Woodrow along with supporters, staff and representatives of our club.
BBC’s Brian McLauchlin will also interview live on stage Norrie’s brother, Robert, Dick Campbell, Ian McCall, Jim Bowie, Ian Westwater, Stewart Petrie, Allan Moore, Andy Smith, Pip Yeates, Pat Stanton, John Robertson, Jim Leishman and Gregor Abel.
