DAFC appoint new member of backroom staff
Sunday, 15th Jul 2018Dunfermline Athletic Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of John Porteous as Physiotherapist with immediate effect.
John had been helping our club out on a non-contract basis last season, to assist our current Physiotherapist, Kenny Murray with post-match treatment along with rehabilitation work. John has now accepted our offer to join on a permanent basis, to assist our existing team. He brings with him a wealth of experience having worked at Stenhousemuir, East Fife, Motherwell and Hibernian over the course of his career.
Manager, Allan Johnston stated “we are all absolutely delighted that John has agreed to get more involved. I think he thoroughly enjoyed dipping his toe back in the water last season, and has already built up a great rapport with the players and coaching staff. On behalf of everyone at East End Park, I would like to formally welcome John onboard, and we all look forward to working with him more closely this season.”
