With results like that we will not be c

"When the game is going like that it was either them or us who were going to score a goal like that. We kind of dug ourselves into a grave; we didn't really play very well. We might have come up here and take a draw before the game but after the first half I thought if we could have raised our game a wee bit then we could maybe of got a result here.

Inverness Caley Thistle v Dunfermline

"It would have been nice to get the monkey off our back because we have not beaten this team in the SPL. Today was a great chance but we didn't play anywhere near it. The goal that we lost just sums it up for us at the minute. I think it hit Scott Muirhead on the way in. I was right behind it, it was going wide but when it hit the grass it spun in. It was sickening to lose a silly goal..

"Last week we started terribly, came on and won the game with the second half performance. We didn't start that bad but it was just one of those games that had 0-0 written all over it. We did not create much in the game but I always felt that we could win the game but it wasn't to be.

"Dorus (de Vries) had a brilliant save just before it but to lose a goal like that is just football for you!

"There is still a long, long way to go. We have a good squad and can climb the league but with results like that we will not be climbing anywhere.

"We have the guys upfront who can score the goals but I do not think that we really gave them great service. The deliveries in did not really set them up with chances. Stevie (Crawford) had a couple of chances today but they weren't great. Hammy has not had a chance yet. So we have to address that problem.

"The changes never worked for us but we have to look at ourselves, Inverness were there to be taken but we never turned up and got what we deserved. We might have deserved a point but they took their chance and we go back down the road with nothing."
