Forrester Park Resort, Cairneyhill was packed on Saturday night for the Scott Thomson Testimonial Dinner. Chairman John Yorkston paid tribute to the long serving former Club Captain:-

"Loyalty is a thing you don't see often in football and Nipper has been with us for almost 10 years now.It was a great privilege to agree to giving him a Testimonial year.He is highly regarded, and is a great ambassador for the Club.

"There are a lot of things that don't get publicised, the Young Pars and all the other things that you are asked to turn out to.Some of the players obviously have other appointments on those nights, but Nipper is there and on behalf of the Board of Dunfermline Athletic we would like to give you this small memento, I'm sure you will have many mementos over the years of your time at Dunfermline , but this is something that might fit on the mantelpiece.On behalf of the Board of Dunfermline Athletic, Nipper please accept this trophy."
