Dunfermline Athletic have signed 24 year old midfielder Scott Robinson as an amateur. The player who was a free agent on account of being released by Kilmarnock has previous experience at Hearts where as a 16 year old he was the youngest player ever to play in the Scottish Premier League.
Scott joined Hearts from Hutchison Vale Boys Club and between 2008 and 2015 made 114 appearances for the Edinburgh club. He has been capped regularly at U16, U17 and U19 level.
Scott was 16 years, 1 month and 14 days old when he made is Hearts debut coming on as a sub in the home match versus Inverness Caley Thistle.
He is the youngest player ever to play competitive football for Hearts, he scored his debut goal in a 1-1 draw at Ibrox in January 2010 and has experience of European football having played for Hearts against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
In June 2015 Scott was signed for Kilmarnock by his former boss Gary Locke on a three year deal. After 13 appearances for the Rugby Park club and after Locke's departure he was sidelined.
