cinch League One (away) v Montrose, Saturday 25th March 2023, 4.00pm at Links Park

After three consecutive home games Dunfermline head to Montrose on Saturday for just their second league match at Links Park since May 1987. The last visit in October is not fondly recalled since it was the Pars only league defeat so far this season but hopefully revenge can be dealt out on the opposition this Saturday.

James McPake will be hoping that his side can extend their current sixteen match unbeaten run in League One.

Montrose 2-0 Dunfermline
Sat, 22nd Oct 2022

The Fifers proud unbeaten record of 12 matches came to an end but they remained top of League One, just one point ahead of FC Edinburgh.

It took until 63rd minute for a goal to materialise and it came from the home side’s super sub. Matthew WRIGHT had replaced Blair Lyons and two minutes later with virtually his first involvement hit the ball into the bottom right of the Pars goal for 1-0.

With Dunfermline pushing for the equaliser the opposition cashed in on lack of numbers at the back and WRIGHT notched a second in 87 minutes after getting the better of the unfortunate Comrie.
