The next two Pars matches are on the road; at Inverness and Motherwell - teams in ninth and twelfth respectively. Two Dunfermline wins would ease the relegation threat and even allow a focus on the Top Six

Not much to write about here! One victory away from home, and that was in April 2000 the game that the Pars won promotion to the Premier League after a year`s absence.
Twelve league games have now taken place between the teams. Dunfermline have won three of them but only in the First Division, there have been four draws and five have ended in defeat. The Pars have not beaten the Highlanders in the last eight league games.
[1-0] Smith (p), [2-0] Reid, [3-0] Thomson, [4-0] Petrie
Caley` last home win in the SPL was back on 3rd May last season. This season only Dumbarton from Division Three have allowed a home win. Dunfermline have yet to score a goal away from home this season but there is renewed optimism since the return of Stevie Crawford. Maybe this time the trip back down the A9 will not seem so bad. The sides are equal on points so there is a great incentive for both sides to collect three points and increase the gap between themselves and Motherwell.
Inverness last time out (at Kilmarnock) on Saturday 23rd September; Mark Brown; Ross Tokely. Grant Munro, Darren Dods, Roy McBain, Barry wilson, Ian Black (Richard Hart 45), Richard Hastings, John Rankin, Craig Dargo (Rory McAllister 89), Graham Bayne. Subs not used: Michael Fraser, Stuart McCaffrey, Russell Duncan, Liam Keogh, Sutherland
Referee will be Calum Murray, his third time in charge of Caley this season but the first time officiating at a Dunfermline game since he sent off Steven Pressley at Tynecastle when the Pars lost 2-0 last October.
