Talking after a heavy defeat to Morton, Pars manager, John Potter said that his team had just not been good enough and he added that applied for the entire 90 minutes.
"We seemed to accept it towards the end as well and I will not have that, not from one of my teams. For me there was an acceptance towards the end and they let things happen that shouldn't have happened. That is disappointing to take.
"We need to be better, it is as simple as that. We were weak defensively, we were not creating chances, we were not getting in shots when the opportunities were there. We picked the wrong options and today we were miles off where we should be."
Morton scored on the stroke of half time and then again just seven minutes into the second half.
"We lost a goal with a minute to half time when there was a silly pass in midfield, it shouldn't have happened and we got punished for it. If we had come in all square at half time, it would have been a different game.
"We started the first half okay but we let them come in to it. Second half was disappointing because we didn't look like we were going to score and they looked threatening every time the ball was kicked up the pitch.
"We looked weak and we have to be physically stronger. The only positive was Ryan Scully, he made great saves but I actually feel sorry for him because he is performing well but the other ten in front of him have to do better. Ryan was great.
"It is my job and Neil's job to pick the players back up. We have to pick a winning team, it is going to be difficult but we will sit down as we do and work out what went wrong. We build up to next week, fingers are crossed that we can do it.
"A play off place is still a chance but weeks are going in and these are must win games. If we play like that today we will not win any games of football.
"Until it is mathematically impossible we will keep going. I will keep going, that's the type of guy I am. I demand that from the players, if they don't I will change the team it is as simple as that."
