Alex Whittle joins the Pars on a pre-contract

DAFC are delighted to announce the signing of 19-year-old forward Alex Whittle on a pre-contract.

Alex, who came through the youth ranks at Liverpool Academy, has agreed a 3-year contract with DAFC.

Alex joined Liverpool's Academy when he was only 6 year old, spending 11 years at the Merseyside club before being released in 2011. He went on to join the Nike Football Academy, where his performances have impressed several clubs on both sides of the border.

Alex joined the club on trial and impressed during a 3-1 win against Livingston on Tuesday in a bounce game.
