The draw for the fourth round of the Homecoming Scottish Cup was made at Hampden on Monday 1 December at 2.30pm by Scotland manager George Burley, Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and SFA President George Peat.  Dunfermline were drawn at home to fellow First Division club, Clyde.

The 12 SPL teams enter the competition at this stage along with last season's leading First Division teams who did not win promotion - Dundee, Dunfermline, Queen of the South and St Johnstone - joining the 16 third-round winners.

Fourth round ties will be played on Saturday, 10th January 2009 or Sunday, 11th January, 2009.
St Johnstone will face Rangers on Tuesday 13th January.
