Born 29.12.80 Beverwijk, Holland
Debut: v Ayr United 22/08/06 in CIS Insurance Cup

Highly rated in his home country, Dorus began his career at Stormvogels Telestar.  In 2003 he moved to Den Haag where he took over from regular Roland Jansen.

Despite a successful stint at the Zuiderpark Stadion, he was told at the end of last season that he was free to find another club subsequentky joining Dunfermline before the start of season 2006-07 after trialling on the Pars pre season tour in Holland.

Firmly established himself as Dunfermline no.1.  Notched five clean sheets during April 2007 as the Pars won four and drew one.

Appearances for Dunfermline: 34 including 12 shut outs.
