Kincardine Player of the Year
Wednesday, 26th Apr 2017The Kincardine Pars Supporters Club held its second Player of the Year event last Friday night and voted Sean Murdoch as their top man this season.
The club, which was established in 2007 following previously successful trips to Hampden, held its inaugural awards night last year at which Faissal El Bakhtaoui received their first award.
A vote was carried out by members ahead of last month`s trip to St Mirren and Sean emerged as a clear winner, with Michael Moffat voted as the runner-up.
The Kincardine Pars were delighted to welcome both Sean and Lewis Martin along to their evening in Tulliallan Bowling Club, which was well attended by members and their families, friends of the club and representatives from other DAFC supporter groups.
The club presented Sean with an original piece of artwork created by Paul Town, who was worked alongside Kincardine Pars member, and DAFC Heritage Trustee Kenny McLachlan, on a variety of projects in aid of the Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters Club`s lift fund.
The club would like to thank Sean and Lewis for taking the time to attend their event, as well as DAFC for their assistance.
