Secret Agent Sammy Book

Following on from the successful children’s book produced last year by the Pars Supporters’ Trust, “Where’s Sammy?

The Mystery of the Missing Mascot”, the PST has again accepted the generous offer from playwright, author and Pars fan Mike Gibb, together with illustrator David Stout, to create another adventure story starring Scotland’s number one mascot, Sammy the Tammy.

How Sammy ends up meeting the Queen in Buckingham Palace and helping the Secret Intelligence Service to save the world, while still finding time to wind up the supporters of Raith Rovers, is revealed in a new book “The Name’s Sammy, Sammy the Tammy”.

Drew Main, Vice-Chair of the PST said “Mike has come up with another gem with this latest book and the illustrations by David are superb. I’m sure readers will be kept on the edge of their seats as the plot thickens and it’s great to spot lots of local references along the way not to mention a fair slice of humour too. It’s fund raising initiatives like this which enable the PST to contribute towards lots of projects in and around East End Park like paying for the teams recent overnight stay ahead of the Scottish Cup tie in Buckie. We’d also like to thank the Elizabethan, Ciao Italia and Tesco Extra at Duloch for their support in bringing the book to fruition”.

The book, which will sell for £4.99, is available from East End Park, Waterstones in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre and online via eBay. A donation from each book sold will go to the Scottish animal charity Friends of Bianca.
