Dunfermline manager Allan Johnston had lost his voice after losing 3-1 to Dundee United but he did manage a few words.
"I thought the boys were different class today to be honest with you. They were always on the front foot the whole game.
"Their first goal came from our mistake. Sometimes that happens but I thought the boys responded really well.
"The first penalty we got - I was at an SFA meeting a couple of weeks ago and seemingly if it is pushing, pulling or holding it is a sending off. Well he has pushed him and he has booked him so what are the rules?
"The second penalty he (Willo Flood) has brought him down but to be fair it is not a sending off. Then the third one the boys has caught it with his two hands when it was going in the net so is that a sending off? Surely that is a sending off as well.
"I don`t know, maybe the referee deemed that they were not goalscoring opportunities but it certainly looks like it from the video."
The three penalties were taken by three different takers and the manager commented:-
"You know what it is like if you miss a penalty, it is difficult you are expecting somebody to step up and score one of them. We are disappointed but I think the main thing to take out of the game was how much we were on top.
"We have to learn from the mistakes, the second goal was just not good enough. It was really poor defending not matching runners but other than that I cannot really complain. The boys have everything, I thought that it was a really good performance and disappointed not to get the three points."
At 2-1 down Callum Fordyce powered a header off target when it could have got Dunfermline back on level terms bit the manager saw more than that in terms of getting something from this league match.
"Farid (El Alagui) came on and had a couple of opportunities. He is a real threat upfront. I thought Paul McMullan was excellent and caused them all sorts of problems. He had some great passes in behind, beating people as well.
"When you look at the two strikers Nicky Clark and Gavin Reilly they ran them ragged. There were a lot of positives there but we need to turn performances like that into results."
