John Herron signs on loan

Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to confirm the signing of John Herron on loan from Blackpool.

Midfielder, Herron started his career with Glasgow Celtic making his first team debut in 2012 against Ross County. Herron featured in the Celtic development side against Dunfermline in the 2013 SFA Youth Cup Final at Hampden Park.

In 2015 he joined fellow Fifers, Cowdenbeath on loan making 5 appearances for the Blue Brazil before returning the Celtic.

On his release from Celtic in 2015, the 22-year-old joined English League One side, Blackpool on a two-year contract.

Herron joins the club on a loan deal until January 2017.
