DAFC Season Tickets for 2016-17
Monday, 30th May 2016Board Statement
Response from supporters to date has been simply FAN-tastic!
DAFC Season Tickets for the 2016-17 season, only went on sale three weeks ago, but the response of our supporters to date has been simply FAN-tastic! DAFC Managing Director, Ross McArthur said:-
"The total sold to date is already 2,046, including our premium season tickets for the Jock Stein and Rennie Suite. It is also really pleasing to see that the above figure includes 240 new season ticket holders.
"Quite incredibly, we are 890 up on the same point last season. Our amazing supporters have yet again showed tremendous loyalty and backed our club magnificently, as we prepare for life in a very competitive SPFL Championship. There are so many games to look forward to, and it certainly has caught the imagination of our fans.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has got on the front foot in the last three weeks and demonstrated their commitment to our club by purchasing a Season Ticket for next season. It is, as ever, greatly appreciated.
"I would encourage as many supporters as possible to purchase a Season Ticket, between now and the start of the season, if they have not already done so, as it provides our club with a greater certainty of income and helps us support the Manager with player recruitment”.
Manager, Allan Johnston also expressed his delight:-
"Yet again this demonstrates the passion there is for our club, and how thirsty the Pars fans are for our club to be successful. There will be no easy games next season, and we need a big, noisy home support at East End Park every week, acting as the 12th Man! We are working really hard behind the scenes to bring in the right calibre of player to help us to be successful, and I would urge as many supporters as possible to back our club by purchasing a season ticket, as it will assist us to bring in the right quality of player.”
As previously indicated, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer a monthly payment plan for season ticket purchases next season. It would greatly assist our Club if you could possibly arrange to pay by cash or cheque to avoid unnecessary credit handling charges imposed upon our Club by our merchant services provider.
