- - Listen to this Allan Johnston Interview
"You can see how much it means to the fans when you see the number of people who are here in the first place and the atmosphere. It has been a tough couple of years for the club but it is a club that is on the up now and hopefully we can continue that into the next year as well."
Delighted to find out that the attendance was over 6000 Allan Johnston reflected:-
"It just shows you the potential that this club has got with the fan base. they can see we have a good team on the park and hopefully if we strengthen thenn we can compete up the top end of the league next year as well."
The manager felt that his team gave a good performance to defeat Peterhead 1-0:-
"It was against a stuffy Peterhead team who always cause us problems. It is always a difficult and tough game so it was great to get the win and finish on a high note as well.
"We still have a while to go before players contracts are up but we are looking to get boys tied up and obviously start talking to other players as well. We do need to strengthen in a couple areas. The last thing we want to do is lose the nucleus of the team as well.
"In performances this year week in week out, they have handled it no probem against top oppostion. They could easily make the step up."
