Will you win a Golden Ticket?
Friday, 29th Apr 2016The final issue of Black&White will be on sale from the usual outlets and the club shop at its usual price of £3.
All sorts of things have inspired Dunfermline Athletic’s glorious run to the League One title this season, and this week for the final match programme of the season, we’ve decided to give fans the chance to have a fantastic souvenir of the 2015/16 season, courtesy of an idea taken from ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory’.
Black&White, which has already been crowned League One Programme of the Year for the third consecutive season, will be available as a special souvenir edition on Saturday. As well as all the usual features, we’ve got some special articles dedicated to those times when the Pars were league title winners. We’ve also got an interview with John Watson and his reflections on his two league title-winning seasons, and one with Faissal El Bakhtaoui, undoubtedly one of the League One players of the season.
We’ve also inserted a large commemorative poster into every copy of Saturday’s match programme which will in itself be a nice souvenir. But, and here’s where the Golden Ticket comes in, we’ve decided to have 25 of the posters individually autographed by the DAFC squad and by the management team led by Allan Johnston who has signed them all individually himself. It will make a unique keepsake for the 25 people lucky enough to get one.
The specially signed posters have been returned to our printers Garthland Print and they have randomly distributed them among the programmes that will be for sale at Saturday’s game. There is no visible difference between the programmes with and without the signed posters and just to make sure that there is no peaking, Garthland have individually wrapped each and every programme in a special envelope.
The final issue of Black&White will be on sale from the usual outlets and the club shop at its usual price of £3. This will be the third special issue this season. The other two (Jock Stein Legends game and Norrie McCathie Commemorative issue) sold out long before kick-off so the club has ordered extra numbers this week in anticipation of the demand. But make sure that you get one, because you just might have the Pars very own version of the Golden Ticket!
