Dunfermline v Peterhead - Saturday 30 April 2016
Saturday, 30th Apr 2016Could it be magic? – it certainly will be!
A fantastic and magical season draws to a close this Saturday at East End Park, with our match against Peterhead, as we all look forward to the SPFL Championship next season.
After the match, every Pars fan who attends will be able to witness and savour the League 1 Trophy Presentation Title Party. Our Club has been working closely with the SPFL and League Sponsors, Ladbrokes and it promises to be a magical day, with arguably the best League Trophy Presentation ever seen at East End Park.
Therefore, we would like to appeal to all Pars Supporters, their friends, families and the wider community of West Fife, to attend this Saturday’s game against Peterhead. It would be fantastic for our club to attract another bumper crowd at East End Park on Saturday raising the roof, to cheer the team over the line and showcase to the wider Scottish Football what DAFC means to our local community.
With Allan Johnston signing a new two year contract on Tuesday, along with the core of the existing first team squad committed for next season, please get along to East End Park this Saturday to back the squad and help our Community Club.
We have 2,622 Season Ticket Holders, and already another 1,969 tickets have been sold to date so the match has already caught the imagination of the West Fife public.
Supporters are advised to attend the match early, to avoid queues and where possible, purchase tickets in advance of the match.
To assist supporters to purchase tickets in advance, our Club Shop will be open for the rest of the working week between 10am and 4pm; and from 10am on Saturday.
Charlie D’s and Legends will open from 11.30am on Saturday and both HOME and AWAY are invited. The Rennie Suite will open from 1pm.
The Board made an appeal to our supporters before the recent Brechin game to refrain from entering the field of play after the game, as otherwise the players will not return and there was every chance our club would then be sanctioned or fined by the SFA following earlier incidents this season. This was adhered to impeccably by our supporters, so your cooperation once again on Saturday would be much appreciated.
Car Parking is available behind the North Stand, but please note that access is via Leys Park Road.
Come on Ye Pars!!
