1885 Business Club Donation
Friday, 1st Apr 2016The 1885 Business club added to the Club’s celebrations on Saturday by handing over a cheque for over £43k.
1885 Chairman Garry Davidson, Vice Chair William Braisby, Directors Stephen Taylor and David Gemmell are pictured presenting the cheque to DAFC Director Ian Hunter.
The 1885 couldn’t have picked a better day to present the cheque as they had 60 members and Guests in Hospitality who not only enjoyed the entertainment but were on hand to celebrate winning the League Championship at the final whistle.
Garry Davidson 1885 Chairman said:-
It has been a fantastic and emotional day and one that makes everything we do seem worthwhile. This has been a great year for the Business Club and our thanks must go to all of our members who have supported every event in the last year including our glitzy Christmas Party, Jim Leishman’s Burns Supper, The Sportsman’s Dinner at the Garvock, Pre Season Curry night, Networking events, Edinburgh Festival and Match day Hospitality.
Ian Hunter, DAFC Director and a member of the Business Club, said:-
I would like to thank the Directors and Members of the 1885 Business Club for their continued support and as a member myself I see first hand the hard work that goes into each and every event. The fundraising is a valuable source of income for DAFC and the monies donated are vital in helping DAFC achieve days like today.
