Credit where credit is due
Monday, 28th Mar 2016Allan Johnston, his backroom staff and the players rightly receive all of the plaudits over the weekend for their outstanding contributing to a record breaking season.
Now that everyone’s head is clearing after the weekend’s celebrations, the DAFC Board would like to take this early opportunity to put on record our sincere thanks to all Pars supporters for heeding our request not to enter the field of play after Saturday’s game. Emotions run high when titles are at stake, particularly this time around after the difficult period our club has come through, but the behaviour of our supporters on Saturday was impeccable.
A title party day is planned for the last game of the season against Peterhead, with the League One trophy being presented after the match. We are sure our supporters will again remain in their seats to allow the celebrations to take place, as the players and backroom staff will have their young families with them on the pitch.
Our supporters should all enjoy this moment with great pride, as their ongoing contribution by attending matches, contributing to the Centenary Club Lifeline, enjoying our hospitality lounges or volunteering around East End Park keeps our club functioning. We’re in this together.
Come on Ye Pars!!!
