Allan Johnston was pleased after watching his side produce yet another convincing win.

"It was a brilliant performance especially in the second half. I thought we passed the ball really well. Some of the movement, some of the goals were different class. It is always good when you see the subs coming on and making such an impact.

"All three of them made a big impact for the goals. At one of the goals I think the three of them were involved with really good interchanges and a great goal from Ryan Wallace.

"Overall I thought we were comfortable for the majority of the game, maybe first half we never had enough shots for all the possession we had, even though we managed to get a couple of goals.

"Second half I thought some of the football and the way we moved the ball was really well and it is always pleasing when you get a clean sheet as well."

Michael Paton shot the Pars into a 2-0 lead just three minutes after Josh Falkingham had scored the opener. Michael's finish into the top corner from a 23 yard free kick was well nigh unstoppable but his manager considered his player capable of better finishes:-

"I think he is actually better from outside the box. He had a chance inside the box that has probably looked a bit easier. It was a fantastic finish and his deliveries this season have been fantastic but it is always good to see him getting on the scoresheet as well."

Results elsewhere meant that Dunfermline are just give wins away from the title with nine games remaining. The manager avoided the one game at a time line:-

"We are in a great position, we can only throw it away. We have two games within a few days coming up that are massive for us. We need to make sure that we recover well and ready for these games."
