Preview Stranraer
Saturday, 27th Feb 2016Only Dunfermline and Peterhead have better away records in this league than Stranraer.
Saturday's opponents Stranraer are a changed side from the one defeated 3-0 and 3-1 in the first two fixtures between the teams. Up until Christmas Stranraer had won only four league games but come to East End Park undefeated in their last six matches.
Allan Johnston has said that this week's opponents have shown good form recently and have worked their way up the table.
"With some good players, we know Stranraer will make this a dangerous game for us. Every time we have played them this season they have given us a tough game so we don't expect anything different."

Dunfermline's best result against Stranraer was in Division Two in April 1958 when a Charlie Dickson hat trick helped the Pars to a 9-1 scoreline. Until December 2014 the Pars had won every home league game except the drawn match in November 1983 which was just five games into Jim Leishman's managerial career. The 1-0 win for Stranraer on 20th December 2014 was their first ever league success at East End Park. In all 34 of the 48 previous league fixtures have been won by the Pars, seven have been drawn and seven have been won by Stranraer.
