Lewis Martin was an unused sub on Saturday against Ayr but he was not to make his first team return against the team he played in his last first team game. Speaking exclusively to this website Lewis talked over his return in last Friday afternoon's Development League win over St Johnstone:-
"It was good to get back. It was my first game in two months because my last game was on December twelfth against Ayr. To return on February twelfth is exactly two months being out.
"It felt alright, I got a wee bit tired near the end of my 45 minutes but felt good."
The 20 year old defender is in the U20s squad for the Development League game against Celtic on Monday night at Cappielow.
"It is about building up my minute time up, hopefully more than 45 this time and getting fitter and fitter. I have been training with the 20s last week and doing well. This week I just want to play on Monday then get back into the first team."
