Dunfermline's next match will be at home against Ian McCall's Ayr United who have been rival title contenders all season. Last Saturday the gap between the teams returned to ten points as the Pars took three points at Stenhousemuir and Ayr United were beaten 2-1 at home to Peterhead. The Somerset Park club will be hoping to narrow the gap with a repeat of their win at East End Park back in September.

Ayr United were shock losers at Albion Rovers in their opening league game of the season but they won every league fixture until they met Dunfermline at Somerset Park in December.
