Preview Stenhousemuir
Saturday, 6th Feb 2016Ladbrokes League One: Saturday 6th February 2016, 3.00pm kick off at Ochilview Park
This Saturday Allan Johnston's team travel across the Forth to play Stenhousemuir. Last time they did that was after a home defeat to Ian McCall's Ayr United. This time it is after an equally extremely disappointing home defeat to Airdrieonians but Stenhousemuir will be hoping that they not on the end of a similar 5-0 scoreline like that last time.

In September it was goals from Cardle, El Bakhtaoui twice, Byrne and Antoine-Curier that tallied up to that 5-0 at Ochilview Park last time. On the Saturday before Christmas Dunfermline required a Shaun Rooney strike 12 minutes from the end to secure the 1-0 win at East End Park.
Last season while Dunfermline won both their home games 2-0 in September and then 3-2, the 0-1 game at Ochilview in November was the Fifers first defeat there in 30 years. The March fixture was a 1-0 win for the Pars but after Faissal El Bakhtaoui's 47th minute goal it took a Ryan Scully penalty saved eight minutes from time to secure the points.

Stenhousemuir won their first four home games of the season and were undefeated at Ochilview Park until Dunfermline's visit in September. Since that 5-0 defeat they have won only one of the seven league matches at home since.
