SQMC sponsor East Stand at East End Park

Monday, 21st Dec 2015

Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is delighted to announce a new sponsor for our East Stand, after securing an agreement with the Scottish Quality Management Centre.

The Scottish Quality Management Centre (SQMC), who are based at Carnegie Conference Centre provide internationally accredited business management systems advisory services, training and qualifications to a diverse client base of SMEs and large multinationals. SQMC’s customers span a broad range of industrial and service sectors, as well as public and private industries, and independent students, across the UK and internationally.

Their clients include the likes of 3M, Asda, Mercedes-Benz, Cirrus Logic, Leeds University, Diageo, Babcock, City of Edinburgh Council, FMC Technologies, BAe Systems, Fife Council, Andrew Carnegie Business School, British Airways and Caledonian Brewery.

Ross McArthur, Managing Director stated:-

“I am again absolutely delighted that we have managed to reach agreement with SQMC to sponsor the East Stand. On behalf of the Board and everyone at the football club, I would like to thank Kenny Hannah and the team at SQMC for not only their support, but a genuine desire to assist their local community team at this time.”

The East Stand sponsorship package at East End Park offers the ideal platform for SQMC to maximise their partnership with the club while promoting their products or services.

Kenny Hannah, SQMC’s Commercial and Operations Director, who managed the project stated:-

“The board of SQMC are delighted to team up with our local football club under this sponsorship arrangement. It means a lot to me, personally, because my dad first took my brothers and me along to East End Park in the 70s and 80s, and the mighty Pars have been ‘in our blood’ ever since!

"I’ve been so impressed with the progress off the field since DAFC became a community club, and Allan Johnston and the players are establishing a classy style of football that I find reminiscent of the Jimmy Calderwood era – but on a more sustainable business model. I’m proud to have played a part in the link up of these fine institutions.”

For over a quarter of a century, SQMC has been supporting local and international organisations to improve their Quality, Environmental, Energy and Health & Safety management systems.
Its business management systems awareness workshops and auditor courses are available to the general public every month between its highly regarded Fife training facility, the Glasgow Hilton Hotel, and Quality Scotland in Central Edinburgh. In addition, SQMC are regularly commissioned to send their tutors internationally to deliver their courses privately in-house for a variety of organisations.
