Co-operative Funeralcare have purchased twenty copies of the newly re-edited 'Golden Years' DVDs and are donating these to residential homes for senior citizens around Dunfermline and West Fife.
So when Pars supporters have finished bringing the older members of their families up to speed with the latest match reports from East End Park, it should be possible to sit down together, and watch the halcyon days of Dunfermline Athletic in the 1960s.
Kenny McLachlan of Co-operative Funeralcare said:-
"It is a pleasure to listen to folk recalling the great times of the 1960s, when European football was a staple fare, and the Athletic won the Scottish Cup twice. We hope that by sponsoring this new edition of the 'Golden Years' DVD, we bring families together to reminisce about Dunfermline Athletic. "
The DVD is on sale from the DASC supporters shop at East End Park, and also through December at the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, where Frank Connolly has a stall outside Debenhams.
