Preview Cowdenbeath
Saturday, 31st Oct 2015Ladbrokes League One: Saturday 31st October 2015, kick off 3.00pm at Central Park
It would seem having conceded 12 goals to Dunfermline in two games just over two months ago that Cowdenbeath might not be too happy to meet them again. Dunfermline are top of League One and with a points gap of fourteen Cowdenbeath sit ninth but the Central Park club won their first away game of the season at Stranraer on Saturday, have now won two and drawn two of their last six league matches and are unbeaten in their last four home games.

Dunfermline's league record against Cowdenbeath reveals 34 wins and 27 defeats with 14 draws. Recent form has certainly favoured the East End Park side with only two defeats in the last thirteen meetings. The most disappointing defeat was 3-0 in the First Division Play Off final and Cowdenbeath did win the last league meeting at Central Park in February 2013. That ended a wait since August 1977 for a home win over the Pars and was their first over their nearest neighbours since May 1993.
