A packed Royal Bengal Tandoori restaurant played hosts to the Pars Supporters' Trust Curry Night on Thursday 13th August.
Almost 70 Pars fans were joined by manager Allan Johnston, along with coaches Sandy Clark and John Potter. After a delicious 2 course banquet style meal, the Pars management team took part in a Q & A session with topics ranging from our in-form striker, Faissal El Bakhtaoui to the training facilities at McKane Park. Sandy Clark also had a special mention for the atmosphere being generated by the fans around the stadium (not just on matchdays). Something that he pointed out was quite different from the times he was at Dunfermline before, both as a player and as a coach.
PST Vice-Chair, Drew Main said “We can’t thank Anis and his team at Royal Bengal enough for their continued support of the PST, giving over the restaurant to us tonight. Thanks also to everyone who came along and made tonight such a great success”.
The event raised almost £1000 for the PST and will be added to the pot for the next big cheque hand-over. If you would like to join the PST (for a minimum of £20/year), please visit www.parssupporterstrust.co.uk, email membership@parssupporterstrust.co.uk or write to the PST courtesy of East End Park, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, KY12 7RB.
