Keeper signed
Monday, 13th Jul 2015Allan Johnston has addressed his number one priority
After trialling for several weeks David Hutton has signed for Dunfermline Athletic. The Glasgow born goalkeeper started his career with Aberdeen but it was with Clyde that he made his senior debut against Ayr United in September 2006.
After three seasons at Broadwood, David moved on the Queen of South. There he played in the same team as the now Pars manager, Allan Johnston although it was Gordon Chisholm who signed him in June 2009. He had a season with Hamilton Accies in 2011/12 and Morton the following season before signing for Ayr United in July 2013.
David has played against Dunfermline many times when at Clyde, Queen of the South and Ayr. In the last two seasons he has played the Pars ten times and conceded 24 goals! Despite helping his club to avoid relegation, Hutton was not offered a new contract by Ayr United and, as of May this year was a free agent.
