Membership News
Tuesday, 30th Jun 2015Membership Benefit cards have now been produced and are available for collection at the club’s Kit Launch & Open Day
Firstly, many thanks to everyone who has continued to sign up during recent weeks. Membership currently stands at 1,059 and we continue to grow in numbers all the time. If you have not signed up, but would like to, the easiest way is to either pick up a form from East End Park or simply fill in your details on the following link: http://www.pars-united.com/cclifeline/join-here/
Apologies must go out to our recent June prize winners. Alas, we have had issues with post going missing after it’s been issued and our treasurer John Russell has now reissued cheques to you all. We are looking at alternative ways to ensure future prize winners receive their funds in a more timely manner to prevent similar delays reoccurring.
Membership Benefits:
Launched at the recent Player of the Year event, the Membership Benefit cards have now been produced and are available for collection at the club’s Kit Launch & Open Day this coming Sunday afternoon at the Glen Pavilion. Thereafter, they will remain in the club shop and you can collect your card from there to keep our postage costs down to a minimum! Should you be based further afield, and would like your card posted out to you, please email Jason Barber on Jason@dafc.net and this will happen before the season kicks off. There are a number of great discounts that can be claimed across a variety of local business, full details are on the membership flyer shown here (document attached)
£3,000 Superdraw coming!
To mark the upcoming 30th anniversary of the original Centenary Club being formed back in 1985, we are having a one off £3,000 cash prize superdraw this year! For the 30 days of September, one member each day will win a prize of a signed Dunfermline Athletic football, signed by the new team and management. Those 30 winners will then be invited along to attend the half time draw for £3,000 which will occur during the home match against Albion Rovers on Saturday 3rd October at East End Park. One of the 30 will walk away with a cheque for £3,000 on the day! Never a better time to sign up to Centenary Club Lifeline, as any new member will automatically be included in this wonderful prize draw!
30th Anniversary Brunch event:
Just 24 hours after the above superdraw, we will be hosting a 30th anniversary Sunday Brunch event at Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline on Sunday 4th October. With a capacity of 250, we hope to fill the venue and have organised some excellent entertainment on the day. Jim Leishman MBE will be your host, whilst one of Scotland’s most sought after (and certainly unique) speakers will perform; Eric Davidson will be in attendance fresh from his latest Edinburgh Festival performances. Tickets will be available for a price of just £15 each, which includes a full menu of both Scottish and continental breakfast offerings upon arrival at 11:30am. Cash bar will open from noon and the event is scheduled to finish at 5pm. We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible on the afternoon, along with many former players who will be invited along.
