Name that seat

Thursday, 4th Jun 2015

Just place your order when buying or renewing your season ticket over the coming weeks, or else do it separately via the Club Shop.

Kenny McLachlan was recently joined at East End Park, with colleagues Abby Mcintosh (and son Bailey), Tommy Patterson (and grandson Liam), Craig Findlay (and son Archie), Jim Clarkson (and daughter Gabby) to lend their support to our club’s season ticket campaign.

As part of the “Through Thick and Thin” campaign, the Club is delighted to report that Co-operative Funeralcare will again assist the club and engrave the highly popular seat plaques for DAFC without cost.

Ross McArthur, DAFC Managing Director highlighted:-

“We are very appreciative of the fact that Co-operative Funeralcare has supported our club with our “Through Thick and Thin” message, by offering once again to engrave the seat plaques at East End Park. We are very grateful to Co-operative Funeralcare for their kind support with this initiative and wish them every success in future.”

If you are a season ticket holder you too can have a plaque fitted to your seat, with the name or words that you want – most fans choose their own name, while some prefer a nickname, it’s up to yourself. Just place your order when buying or renewing your season ticket over the coming weeks, or else do it separately via the Club Shop.

The cost is £15 for the first season, and £5 for each subsequent season.

Perhaps you’ve already got a plaque on your seat, and if you want to keep it there for the new season the cost will be £5, which we will collect when you renew your season ticket.
Even if you don’t have a reserved seat at East End Park, you can have a plaque specially engraved for any purpose you like - maybe for your house name, or a garden seat or even a dog kennel!

Co-operative Funeralcare’s Principal Funeral Director Kenny Mclachlan said “We are once again very happy to help DAFC with this initiative, particularly as it is another means of raising money for our club. It is good for us to be associated with our local community owned club and we sincerely hope that the club can go from strength to strength and get back to the higher echelons of Scottish Football next season”.
