"I have played mostly in the under 17s, I started a couple of games for the 20s but not many. I have come on (off the bench) in a lot of them. I am just looking forward to try and push on next season and get more games.
"I would like to get called up again into the Scotland squad. It was good experience just getting to know all the other boys from the so called bigger clubs. Good to see how they train and I hope to keep up and get into another squad.
"I feel that I have stalled a wee bit and I just need to get myself back up. I spoke to Andy Barrowman and he helped me a lot since he returned. I learned a lot from him and his experience of the game."
James Thomas and PJ have developed a really strong partnership in the 17s but with PJ being younger they didn't get many opportunities to do that at Under 20 level last season. PJ has been deployed on the wing in the 20s but the budding striker is not fazed by that:-
"I played there when I was younger. Defensively I still really don't know what to do but I am fine going forward because it is one on one most of the time. That is what I like best so I am happy with that."
The 16 year old's preparation for the 2015-2016 season will involve his own pre pre season with Andy Barrowman offering his services to assist the youngster despite the fact he had now been released from Dunfermline Athletic.
