East End Park Maintenance
Tuesday, 12th May 2015Voluntary work, summer 2015
As from 12 May, work will commence on the summer maintenance programme within East End Park, and again we are looking for Pars fans to assist as volunteers. Our club needs as many of our supporters to assist with the summer maintenance programme, as we need to keep costs down as much as we can, but we are duty bound to ensure East End Park remains in good condition.
The work will normally be carried out Tuesday to Thursday, between 10am and 3pm.
It is anticipated that the bulk of the work will be undertaken in June and then again in the last 2 weeks of July. However, a lot of work will still be carried out between now and then.
To ensure fans are aware when and what help is required, we will publish on the club’s web site the work programme for the following week.
It is appreciated that many fans are busy at work during the week, but would still like to help therefore we will be planning weekend working too, providing we know they will be in attendance.
Whether you can spare an hour, a day or a few weeks, we look forward to seeing you.
The non-trade work is very basic sweeping scrubbing, weeding and touching up paint work.
In addition, it would involve chipping, cleaning and repainting steel work.
We do require trades such as plumbers and joiners too.
Please contact Dave Blackburn to discuss what we require and if you can help.
