Meet the Manager
Monday, 11th May 2015Allan Johnston takes first opportunity to speak directly to the fans
Allan Johnston is very supportive of the community ownership nature of Dunfermline Athletic and well informed about how the supporters rallied together to save the Club from insolvency in 2013. As a result, Allan has taken his first chance to talk directly to fans at the Supporters' Council meeting on Thursday evening. He is more than happy to answer questions put to him in the meeting.
In addition Ross McArthur will give a presentation on the position of DAFC at the end of season 2014/5. As always, Ross will answer supporters' questions about where we stand at present.
Your best chance of getting your question answered is to attend the meeting on Thursday night at 7pm in the Kingdom Suite at East End Park. A bar facility will be available and there is full disabled access. All supporters are cordially invited.
The Disabled Access group, and the Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust have been making great strides forward, and there will be updates from Ishbel Russell and Duncan Simpson. Details will also be given about planned maintenance work on the stadium during the Close Season, which volunteers can take part in.
John Russell will be in the Chair and Eddie Martin will be acting as Secretary for the evening.
The Supporters Council meeting starts at 7.00pm in the Kingdom Suite, Thursday 14th May.
