DAFC Season Tickets 2015-16
Thursday, 7th May 2015Important Supporters' Update
All prices will be the same as last season.
In advance of Season Tickets going on sale for next season on Friday 8 May, and in the interests of transparency, the Board would again like to make this important announcement to supporters in order to allow them to plan ahead.
Next season we will continue to try to make the price of attending East End Park affordable, across a range of age groups, and all prices will be the same as last season.
Early Pricing Discount
As per previous seasons we will continue to offer an early pricing discount until Sunday 31st May 2015. This provides our loyal supporters with the opportunity to receive a further saving on the normal walk up price, by purchasing the following year’s season ticket early. Most football clubs tend to offer such a discount as it allows them to receive cash in advance of the following season, to assist them through the close season.
Unfortunately due to our club’s current credit rating means that obtaining a favourable rate from a merchant services provider for the sale of season tickets paid by credit card continues to prove difficult. There continues to be a tightening up in terms of the available credit facilities across the board within Scottish football. As a result, the only realistic way our club is likely to obtain a normal credit handling charge is, if the proceeds from season ticket sales are released to our club on a game by game basis throughout the course of next season. This is opposed to being released in full in August 2015.
As a result of this, the material benefit to our club in providing an early pricing discount to supporters is greatly diminished. Nonetheless, the Board firmly believe that it is important to reward the loyalty of our supporters who continue to stick by our club. Therefore, the early pricing discount will apply, however the Board would greatly appreciate the assistance of Pars supporters, where possible, to support our club in the following regard.
Can You Pay By Cash or Cheque
Like last season we will unfortunately not be in a position to offer a monthly payment plan for season ticket purchases next season. Supporters can of course use their own credit card to spread the cost, if they so wish.
However, as per last close season it would greatly assist our Club if you could possibly arrange to pay by cash or cheque as not only will your payment be immediately released to our club, it will not be retained by our merchant services provider and subject to a handling charge.
For the avoidance of any doubt, sufficient reserves are currently retained in the Pars United bank account, but as a community owned club, the Board believe it is important to manage our affairs prudently, and use all means at our disposal to avoid incurring unnecessary costs, charges or any impediment to its cash flow, unless absolutely necessary.
Under 12’s
In line with our strategy to engage with the wider community of West Fife, in particular primary school children who are our future generation of supporters, our club will continue to offer FREE admission to all Under 12's who take a season ticket, if accompanied by an adult.
We hope this ongoing initiative will attract existing and future generation of young fans and their families to East End Park, and dovetails with our highly successful schools engagement programme which launched in October 2014.
Special Armed Forces and Emergency Services Ticket Bundle
We would again like to acknowledge the tremendous work carried out by our Armed Forces and Emergency Services, by offering a special six match season ticket, which acknowledges the fact that they are not always able to attend matches in carrying out their valuable public service.
Stay Fit & Support The Pars
As an added incentive, in connection with Fife Sports & Leisure Trust, any supporter buying a 2015/16 season ticket will again be entitled to receive a discount of 20% of all Active Leisure memberships for use in facilities across Fife.
The fitness and well-being of all of our supporters is to be encouraged, and we thank Fife Sports & Leisure Trust once again for their support next season.
