Sunday, 3rd May 2015The club's official Player of the Year event was organised by Centenary Club Lifeline.
The Centenary Club Lifeline was proud to host this event on the club's behalf, further strengthening the bond between the football club and the Lifeline, which has seen a very strong year after being launched a mere 18 months ago.
The Glen Pavilion was sold out for the function held on the Saturday night of the final fixture of the season.
Almost all the players and management attended, mingled and shared photo opportunities with fans.
Both the DAFC and Centenary Club Lifeline Player of the Year Awards went to keeper Ryan Scully. The Joe Nelson Trophy for the Under 20 Player of the Year was presented to Lewis Spence by Barbara Anne Nelson.
The Gary Riddell Trophy for the Players' Player of the Year was presented after an absence of ten years. Gary's parents Kathleen and Edwin had hoped to be present but with Gary's Mum breaking her arm plans had to be changed. This award was also picked up by Ryan Scully.
