PST Recognises Long Standing Members
Wednesday, 15th Apr 2015Saturday saw the Pars Supporters’ Trust recognise those members who have renewed their membership every year since the PST was established in season 2004/05.
An informal get together was arranged after the victory over Stranraer in Charlie D’s where the continuous members were joined by others who have provided invaluable help to the PST over the last 10 years.
The long standing PST members were each presented with a commemorative scroll by the Pars management team of John Potter and Neil McCann.
Pars Supporters’ Trust Chair Margaret Ross, herself a continuous member commented:-
“It’s certainly been an eventful 10 years since the PST was founded in this very function suite all those years ago. We thought it would be good to mark this particular milestone by recognising those who have been members since the outset and it’s great to see those that could make it here tonight.
"When we started the PST in 2004, it was always our aim to try and build up our shareholding in the football club and have a say in the running of the Club. Now, as the single largest shareholder and with Board positions in both PU (CIC) and DAFC, we are in a position to do just that. But we need to maintain our position as major shareholder and the only way we can do that is with the continued support of our members”.
PST members are reminded that the new membership year has just commenced and memberships should be renewed as soon as possible. Details of how to renew, or join the PST can be found at www.parssupporterstrust.co.uk. Membership costs as little as £20 per year and members are kept up-to-date with everything that’s going on in and around the Club via a weekly e-newsletter.
