1885 Business Club welcomes Lord Willie Haughey

The 1885 Business club welcome Lord Haughey as speaker at their next networking event

We are delighted to announce that our next guest speaker at the 1885 Dunfermline Athletic Business Club networking event will be Lord Willie Haughey.

Lord Haughey is well known in footballing circles as a former Director of Livingston FC, Director of Celtic FC during the Fergus McCann era and for sponsoring the Scottish Cup during the year of the homecoming.

A leading figure in Scottish business, growing City Refrigeration Holdings from very humble beginnings in the east end of Glasgow to Europe’s largest privately owned facilities management company with a turnover in excess of £400m. The business is truly global with large operations as far afield as Australia.

In addition to running his own business empire Lord Haughey dedicates a lot of time assisting fledgling businesses through the organisation Entrepreneurial Spark, an in demand motivational speaker and as a philanthropist has donated over £5m to local charities.
