The final of this year's Inter School Penalty Kick competition is being held on Saturday 28th March at half time in the match against Morton. The finalists are Dunfermline High School and Woodmill High School. Dunfermline High defeated Beath High in their semi-final and Woodmill High received a walkover when Lochgelly High School withdrew from the competition.
Representing Dunfermline High are: Gregor Carmichael, Greg Cumming and Scott Paterson
Representing Woodmill High are: Cameron Coyne, Kyle Walls, Greig Calder
We would like to thank the pupils and teachers from St Columba’s High School, Beath High School, Dunfermline High and Woodmill High for agreeing to enter this year's competition.
First heat was to be between Woodmill High School (pictured above) and Inverkeithing High Schools. Inverkeithing pulled out and that allowed Woodmill to progress. Woodmill were represented by Kyle Walls, Greig Calder and Cameron Coyne.
Next up were the holders of the competition St Columbas High School, Dunfermline (above). They were represented by Bailey Marshall, James Meikle and goalkeeper Declan Morgan.
Beath High School (above): Callum Thow, Kieran Park and goalkeeper Craig Barr. Beath knocked out St Columbas in sudden death shoot out after both sides tied at 3-3.
In the first semi final Beath were knocked out by Dunfermline High School.
Dunfermline High School (above): Greg Cumming, Scott Paterson and goalkeeper Gregor Carmichael. Dunfermline missed none of their penalties to progress 6-5. In the second semi final Woodmill again progressed when their opponents Lochgelly High School pulled out. Fife Elite stepped in to make sure Woodmill were tested before the final.
The final between Dunfermline and Woodmill will be played at half time at the home match against Morton on Saturday 28th March
