Preview Brechin City
Tuesday, 24th Feb 2015Tuesday 24th February 2015. Brechin City are unbeaten in their last 14 league games but have not won at East End Park in their last six visits.
Dunfermline face Brechin City at East End Park on Tuesday in a match re-arranged because of Brechin's involvement in the William Hill Scottish Cup on 7th February - the original date for the game. This is the first of a double header to be played between the sides in the space of eight days.
The 2014-2015 league season started off with a goalless draw against Brechin and the Angus club return with a three point advantage over the Pars. More significantly they are in a play off spot and Dunfermline aren't.

In Division One on 30th April 1994, the Fifers won 2-1 courtesy of goals from Stewart Petrie and Andy Tod and when Brechin returned to Dunfermline after a gap of almost twenty years in 2013-14, they lost 3-1 with Ryan Wallace scoring a double and then in March 2-1 when a Ross Millen penalty in the last minute ensured the three points stayed in Fife.
