Foodbank Festive Appeal

One last Xmas push to reach a tonne for our club’s foodbank appeal

The Dunfermline Athletic FC launched appeal for all supporters to donate to the town's foodbank, has gone from strength to strength.

Volunteers from across the “Pars Family” set up collection points, arranged transport, contacted local businesses for help, and publicised the initiative. Fans have been able to take food and other items to East End Park or other collection points, and make cash donations at our last two home games.

Since its launch in late November, the Pars appeal has gathered a whopping 827kgs of food which has been provided to the Dunfermline foodbank which is part of the Trussel Trust.

It would be fantastic to reach the magical figure of a tonne, before Christmas if we possibly can. Therefore, please, please help our club reach this figure if you able to by providing more donations at Saturday’s game against Stranraer.

How you can help...
You don't even have to go shopping! You probably already have many items desperately needed by the foodbank - such as tins, jars and packets of food, toiletries and cleaning products. You can download a foodbank list http://www.dunfermline.foodbank.org.uk/ to see what's needed most. The full foodbank list is also detailed below for ease.

Just take your items along to the DASC supporters' office (open from 12.00 until 2.00), Pars Car Wash, PST Table on match days or club shop at East End Park Tuesday to Saturday***.

*** if dropping off donations, and the club shop is closed please ring bell on glass door at club shop and DAFC staff will assist you
