We take what we get and deal with it
Monday, 3rd Nov 201403/11/14: Jim Jefferies feels that there are few teams if any that he is more familiar with than his next cup opponents.
After meeting Stranraer six times last season the clubs will now play a minimum of five times this season. The Manager commented on the Fourth Round draw:-
"After the play offs last season we know them well. We have won down there two or three times but it is a tough tie. It could have been tougher but it is a winnable game and they will be saying the same. We go down there in the league expecting to win and it will not be any different in the cup.
"It will be very competitive as it always is. It is a team from our own league and it will just be about who wants it more on the day.
"It is a pity that it's not a home game since that always helps the club more but I am sure a few fans will take a jaunt down there. We had a great turnout at East Stirling on Sunday, they got right behind the team and I am sure they will travel down there with it being the Scottish Cup. If we manage to pull it off we will be in the next round and maybe get the big one then.
"The draw has paired the top fourteen clubs in the leagues. It opens a pathway for somebody unfancied to go and get a cup run if they get the right draws.
"Everybody asks me what I prefer but I gave up on that; we take what we get and deal with it. That is what we have to do."
