On Loan Ranger
Friday, 31st Oct 2014Ross Drummond goes to Berwick again.
Jim Jefferies confirmed on Thursday lunchtime that full back Ross Drummond has gone back on loan to Berwick Rangers. He will be available to Colin Cameron for their cup tie at Bayview on Saturday.
Nineteen year old Declan O'Kane has returned from his on loan period at Montrose leaving Jonathan Page the only other player out on loan. Page is at East Fife but he will not be allowed to get cup tied with them, the terms of the loan deal exclude that happening to him. The centre back is due to return to Dunfermline in mid December and JJ hopes that the Pars are still very much in the cup come then.
Meanwhile Ross Drummond will be allowed to play for the Wee Rangers in their William Hill Scottish Cup third round tie. There is an agreement however that means Ross will not be allowed to play against Dunfermline should Berwick be drawn against them.
On the personnel front JJ will still be without Ryan Wallace for the trip to meet East Stirling on Sunday. Stuart Urquhart came through the Under 20s win at Tannadice on Tuesday night and Josh Falkingham had an operation on Tuesday to remove his tonsils. That operation could keep the Yorkshire terrier out for a couple of matches.
