Elizabethan Pars prove they’re Second to Naan

Popular Indian Restaurant, The Royal Bengal, are the latest local business to back the ever growing Dunfermline Athletic Supporters’ Club The Elizabethan Pars.
On Wednesday, 22nd October 2014 the restaurant, in partnership with the Supporters’ Club, hosted a sold out fundraising night with over £700 raised in the process.
The night was a huge success, with current players attending along with club legends such as Roy Barry and Scott ‘Nipper’ Thomson.
Mikey Mlotkiewicz from the Supporters’ Club said: “It was a great evening; the guys at the Bengal have been fantastic, not just for us, but for the Football Club and we really appreciate their support.
Funds raised tonight will continue to go back into the Football Club. At the moment we sponsor three players plus the goalkeeping coach, Brian Potter, and we’ll continue to look at new ways to back the club financially whilst supporting them on the road”.
Cousins, Anis and Saj Miah from the Royal Bengal said: “We are always delighted to help the guys at the Elizabethan Pars out and continue our support for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club. To raise £700 plus is a fantastic effort from everyone who supported the evening. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Royal Bengal in the near future”.
