Ivan D'Angelo joined Dunfermline from Unione Sportiva Sambenedettese in August 2012.
Pars fans had glimpses of what the Italian 21 year old midfielder can offer in pre season friendlies at Berwick and Lochgelly. Jim Jefferies signed Ivan until the end of 2012, he commented:- "It is just a short term contract to give him a chance to show us what he can do."
Ivan (pronounced ee-van) left Ascoli Calcio two years ago after being at the club since the age of 7. For the last two years he was with Unione Sportiva Sambenedettese 1923, based in San Benedetto del Tronto. Ivan played in the Sambenedettese side that won the championship and promotion to Serie D.. Ivan was born in San Benedetto Del Tronto, which is a city in the province of Ascoli Piceno, only 20 minutes away from the city of Ascoli Piceno.
After just two appearances as a substitute against Montrose and Dumbarton, Ivan left at the end of his short term contract.
