Greg Fleming

Greg Fleming was signed on 10th July 2009 on a year long loan from Oldham Athletic. He was born in Dunfermline and returns to live in the town after moving to play for Gretna. Made 34 appearances for Dunfermline and achieved one shut out. After being released by Oldham he joined Galway United in March 2011.
While at Dunfermline High School he progressed from Woodside Boys Club in Glenrothes to the under 15s at Livingston. Released at the end of his YTS contract Greg joined Gretna before going down south to Oldham
Fleming did not make a first team appearance while at Livingson. He signed for Gretna in the summer of 2005. Fleming started to become a first team regular during Gretna's season in the SPL. During October 2007, Fleming's contract was extended by Gretna and he was selected by the Scotland Under-21 side.
He developed into a first-team regular during Gretna's 2007/08 season in the Scottish Premier League, winning rave reviews for some solid displays in a struggling team. But the Raydale Park side's financial problems led them to release all players at the end of the season, paving the way for Fleming's move south.
Rated as one of Scotland's best young keepers, the former Scotland U21 international made his debut for Oldham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Morecambe. He followed that up with a first League start against Peterborough in December 2008 following an injury to regular number one Mark Crossley.
Greg made 17 League One appearances for Oldham and 2 cup appearances in his 19 game total last season. He will be 23 at the end of the month, is re-united at East End Park with David Graham who played in the same team as him at Gretna.
