A centre back who was one season at Newcastle United before joining Dunfermline in May 2003.

He made a great start to his career at Dunfermline, initially impressing in the Under 21s but later making a claim for a first team place. He has good passing ability, reads the game well and has plenty of pace.

Came on to make his debut as 80th minute substitute in Dunfermline`s 4-0 SPL defeat at Ibrox on 13th September 2003. His good displays were rewarded with a place in the 2004 Cup Final starting line up. He was given the most difficult of all tasks when asked to mark Henrik Larssen in the 2004 Scottish Cup Final after appendicitis ruled Scott Wilson out of the team.

Since then he has suffered from injury problems and played less of a role in season 2004-05. Started 23 matches in 2005-06, still very young and earned a place in the team when Greg Shields moved to central defence.  Only made two starts under Stephen Kenny and was told at the end of season 2006-07 that he was free to leave.  Joined Finn Harp in the Eircom League.

As at 01/07/07: 85 Dunfermline appearances, no goals
