Dunfermline Athletic Youth department have been recently nominated as a beneficiary to receive funds from the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian. They were donated a cheque for £489.76 as part of the "Around the World in a Day and Small Change Big Difference" initiative. Head of Youth department, Stephen Wright said:-
"This is a fantastic gesture from the Waldorf Astoria to donate money to our youth players. The donation will go towards the annual football festival in August for our U12, U13 and U14 squads to go to Oakham, Leicestershire".
Stephen would to thank Gordon MacKenzie and Sandra Jablonska for their help and support towards the youth department. The Around the World in a Day is a fun-filled community youth engagement event hosted by Hilton Hotels & Resorts across Europe. The event focuses on helping youth groups.
